Topic: How to Avoid the Nightmare  - Preparing yourself and your clients for widowhood

Approved for 1 Hour CLE

No one likes to think about the possibility of his or her spouse passing away. But regardless of whether we plan, statistics tell us most women will end up single at the end of their lives. In fact, women are four times more likely than men to be widowed, and widows typically survive their husbands by 14 years. Taking the time to get your affairs in order while both spouses are alive or assisting your clients to do the same will go a long way toward creating security and confidence for the entire family. Come to our October meeting to understand exactly what key steps, actions and decisions taken today can create future positive outcomes.
